AI engineers who’ve shipped, not just prompted.

Every CV says AI now. We find the people who’ve put models in front of real users, and we check the work is theirs before you meet them.

Who it’s for.

Startups where AI is the product, or is about to be.

  • Seed to Series B
  • Building your first AI or ML team, or adding to one
  • Shipping LLM features, training models, or both

Sound familiar?

“Half the CVs I see say ‘AI engineer’. Most of them built a chatbot over a weekend.”

“I need someone who can get a model into production, not a demo into a pitch deck.”

“The good ones get five offers a week. I can’t spend a month finding out who’s real.”

How we handle it.

  1. We split the hype from the work.

Define: we work out what you actually need. Applied engineers building on LLMs, ML engineers training models, or the data people who feed both. Different jobs, different people, different pay, with a salary and equity benchmark for each.

  2. We find people with a track record.

Find: we headhunt engineers who’ve shipped to real users. Evals in place, latency and cost budgets they’ve owned, models they’ve kept alive after launch.

  3. We test the real thing, live.

Vet: a live technical interview on a problem from your world, checked with our anti-cheat. When AI help is one keystroke away, we’d rather know. Plus ID and right to work, employment history, and references confirmed through work email.

  4. We move at their speed.

Shortlist and Hire: good AI engineers don’t wait around. 3-5 vetted people by an agreed date, each with an interview pack, and a tight process through offer and notice.

The roles we fill for you.

Why it holds up.

6 months

Every hire is guaranteed for six months (guarantee terms). Pay as they stay: spread the fee across their first number months, so your runway stays yours.

  • We know what AI help looks like.

We built interview anti-cheat before we built an agency. Built on interview technology used by 20,000+ recruiters.

  • A flag is a question, not a verdict.

If our anti-cheat spots something, the interviewer asks a follow-up. Candidates know upfront, and people make every decision.

  • An interview pack for each person.

How they handled the live problem, where they’re strong, where to dig in your round, and what they want on salary, equity and notice.

Questions, answered.

Can you hire people who train models, not just call APIs?

Yes. We’ll pin down which you need in Define. Training, fine-tuning and evaluation work is a different hire from building LLM features, so we brief and vet for it separately.

How do you check AI skills when AI can help in the interview?

A live technical interview on a real problem, checked with our anti-cheat. If something looks off, the interviewer asks a follow-up. What we care about is whether they understand the work, and that comes out when they talk it through.

What does an AI engineer cost?

It depends on stage, location and what they’ve shipped. You get a salary and equity benchmark in Define, and our salary guides have the ranges.

Do you hire in the US too?

Yes. UK and US, in-office, hybrid or remote.
